Info Session on November 24 Helps Build Awareness and Answer Questions
Pharmacists, payers, and other stakeholders from around the state met on November 24, 2015 at the OHSU Collaborative Life Sciences Building for an informational meeting on pharmacist prescribing. Due to the short timeline we’ve been operating on, this meeting came together quickly, and we appreciate everyone who was able to attend and participate on short notice.
Of course not everyone who wanted to attend could be there in person, so we have a recording of the entire meeting available here (meeting begins at the 2:00 mark):

Many people have been working hard to get systems in place since the passage of HB2879 earlier this year, and I simply cannot overstate the significance of their efforts. Swift implementation of a thoughtful, logical and safe plan speaks volumes about the integrity and dedication that exists within our profession here in Oregon. This was no small undertaking! So to Fiona, Lorinda, Paige, the Board of Pharmacy, Dee, Nathan and numerous others—thank you!
