Scholarships

Congratulations to our OSPA 2021 Scholarship Recipients!

Megan Alhadeff

Oregon State University, Class of 2022

I am honored to be selected for the OSPA scholarship and to have the opportunity to work with so many amazing people this year! Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of serving as the student representative for the OSU/OHSU College of Pharmacy on the OSPA Board. During this time I joined the OSPA COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force committee to help create FAQ pages and keep Oregonians informed on COVID vaccines, planned and co-hosted a virtual trivia event for new pharmacy practitioners and students, and provided a student perspective on various events and initiatives. Residency applications are next on the agenda for me! My primary goal for the next year is to match to an inpatient PGY1 program and work as a clinical pharmacist in an inpatient or ambulatory care environment.

Heather Corello

Oregon State University, Class of 2023

My name is Heather Corello, and I’m a second year pharmacy student at Oregon State University. My interests in pharmacy include oncology, autoimmune disease management, and emergency medicine services. Outside of school and work, I like to paddle board, go on road trips, and foster kittens for a local non-profit. I’m incredibly grateful to have been selected for this scholarship and want to thank OSPA for supporting my pharmacy journey.

Kelly Duong

Pacific University, Class of 2022

I am grateful to have been selected as one of the recipients of the OSPA Scholarship this year. Thank you so much! I am very excited to begin my final year of pharmacy school at Pacific University. I plan to pursue residency after graduation. Outside of pharmacy, I love to cook, clean, and chase sunsets.

Arika Sandbach

Pacific University, Class of 2022

First, I want to say thank you to OSPA and everyone that participated in the selection process. My pharmacy-related passions are linked to my ultimate goal of advancing the profession of pharmacy and involve research, teaching, and leadership. Specific areas of pharmacy I am interested in include oncology and infectious disease. When I am not at school or on rotations, I enjoy spending time outside hiking, walking, or camping!
